Why did you decide to join Created by Humans?
"I share the concerns most every author and publisher has regarding AI, but it’s clear that the world we live isn’t about to change, it’s already changed. And I believe Created By Humans can be a uniquely potent partner: making sense of this new world for authors and publishers, identifying opportunities for them, and helping them control and profit from how their extraordinary work is used."
What human(s) inspire you?
"Great question: How much time have we got?! I’m inspired by so, so many authors and journalists, activists, humanitarians, friends, family (including several great dogs) and anyone else who’s out there living with real intention and doing what they can to make a difference in the world."
Where can other humans find you on the weekend?
"Most often with family and friends in the mountains, rivers, and deserts of the American West. And when I’m really lucky, on a gorgeous wave somewhere."
If you could wave a magic wand, what would you like AI to do for you?
"Bring artists’ work to ever larger audiences while compensating them well, safeguarding their words and ideas, and combating misinformation. And at the end of the day, making the world a safer, kinder, more responsible, and more inclusive place."
